Memorandum of Understanding on strengthening bilateral cooperation on hydrogen, and carbon capture and storage (CSS)

On 13 November 2024, Minister of Climate Policy and Green Growth Sophie Hermans signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation with Norway on hydrogen and carbon capture and storage (CCS) during a royal working visit to Bergen, Norway. Astrid Bergmål, state secretary at the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy, signed on behalf of Norway. The MoU focuses on strengthening cooperation in market development, policy frameworks, regulation, standardisation, technology and innovation.
