Memorandum of Understanding on strengthening bilateral cooperation on renewable hydrogen

During a royal working visit to Copenhagen on 12 November 2024, Minister Sophie Hermans (Climate Policy and Green Growth) and her Danish counterpart Lars Aagaard signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on renewable hydrogen cooperation. The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation on developing the renewable hydrogen market, coordinating regulations, encouraging pipeline infrastructure, exchanging knowledge on underground hydrogen storage and facilitating partnerships between technology companies and project developers from both countries.
