Accessing the BIG register

Some healthcare professionals are obliged to register in the BIG register, such as doctors and physiotherapists. People in these professions are only allowed practise if they are registered in the BIG register. The BIG register provides clarity about the healthcare professional’s qualifications and entitlement to practice. It will also show you whether a disciplinary measure, such as a suspension, has been imposed. The BIG register also provides recognition of foreign diplomas.
