Memorandum of understanding between the governments of South Africa and the Netherlands on cooperation in the field of hydrogen

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for bilateral collaboration between South Africa and the Netherlands in the field of green hydrogen has been signed in Pretoria on 20 June 2023 by Mondli Gungubele, Acting Minister in the Presidency responsible for Electricity and by Mark Rutte, Prime Minister, on behalf of minister for Climate and Energy Rob Jetten. The MoU will facilitate the bilateral collaboration focusing on supporting the role of hydrogen in the energy transition and the development of an international hydrogen market.
