Public Transport in 2040: Outlines of a vision for the future

Central government, the regions, transport operators and ProRail have entered into a partnership with the aim of arriving at a joint strategy for public transport. This document first looks at the challenges, ambitions and objectives. It then examines principles and actions within three pillars. The document ends with an estimate of the costs and the follow-up process needed for more tangible decision-making. It also contains an overview of the actions parties will undertake in the near future.
