Recognition and appreciation

The Outreach Days for Military Casualties, held at regional level, are organised by the Ministry of Defence to show its recognition and appreciation for servicemen, and to acknowledge that military personnel have incurred lasting physical and/or psychological injury through their work. Former and serving military personnel can meet other victims, and are informed about the provisions and facilities available to them.

Military casualties receive a personal invitation to attend from the Minister of Defence.
