I carry out regular assignments in the Netherlands. How should I provide notification in the online portal for foreign workers?
If you work regularly in the Netherlands, you may in some cases be allowed to provide notification annually.
Freight transport by road
You may submit an annual notification if you work as a service provider or self-employed person in the sector Freight transport by road (Standard Industrial Classification group H 494). This applies as well if you provide services for a service recipient established in the Netherlands.
Annual notification for small businesses
You can take advantage of the option to provide notification annually if you:
- have 1-9 employees;
- are established within 100km of the Dutch border;
- supplied at least 3 transnational services in the Netherlands in the previous calendar year or submitted a valid notification in the previous calendar year;
- are registered in the commercial register of the Chamber of Commerce or in a comparable register in a neighbouring country.
You cannot take advantage of the option to provide notification annually if you work in the construction industry, in job placement services, as an employment agency or in personnel administration.
Annual notification for self-employed persons
You can take advantage of the option to provide notification annually if you:
- work in a sector where the duty to notify applies. You can look up the sector that covers your work on the Standard Industrial Classification (SBI) website (in Dutch);
- are established within 100km of the Dutch border;
- supplied at least 3 transnational services in the Netherlands in the previous calendar year or submitted a valid notification in the previous calendar year;
- are registered in the commercial register of the Chamber of Commerce or in a comparable register in a neighbouring country.
You cannot take advantage of the option to provide notification annually if you work in the construction industry, job placement services, as an employment agency or in personnel administration.
