Recovering maintenance payments if your partner fails to make payments
Are you are entitled to partneralimentatie (spousal maintenance) after your divorce or your children are entitled to kinderalimentatie (child maintenance) and your ex-partner is not making the payments? You can contact the Landelijk Bureau Inning Onderhoudsbijdragen – LBIO (national maintenance collection agency). The LBIO will help to get your ex-partner’s payments back on track.

Eligibility for recovery of maintenance
The LBIO will be able to help you if you meet a number of conditions. For example, the minimum outstanding amount must be at least €10. Please consult the LBIO website to find out about eligibility requirements (in Dutch).
