First, go to a GGD office to get Dutch proof of vaccination for your primary series. You can make an appointment in the following GGD regions:
- Amsterdam-Amstelland
- Rotterdam-Rijnmond
- Utrecht
Repeat vaccination
You can get the repeat vaccination in the Netherlands if it has been at least 3 months since your last vaccination or coronavirus infection. At many vaccination centres you can do this without an appointment. To find a location go to prikkenzonderafspraak.nl.
If you want to make an appointment for your repeat vaccination, you can do this online at planjeprik.nl or by phone on 0800 7070.
Converting proof of vaccination after repeat vaccination
If you do not yet have proof of vaccination for your primary series abroad, but you already received a repeat vaccination in the Netherlands, make an appointment with the GGD to register your primary series. You can make an appointment in the following GGD regions:
- Amsterdam-Amstelland
- Rotterdam-Rijnmond
- Utrecht
The GGD will check your documents for the vaccinations you received abroad. If everything is in order, you will be give new proof of vaccination for your repeat vaccination.
Make a registration appointment by phone
If you want to convert your foreign proof of vaccination into Dutch proof of vaccination, make an appointment by calling +31 (0)30 800 2899. You can make an appointment in Amsterdam, Utrecht or Rotterdam. You will be sent the exact address with your appointment confirmation. If other people in your family want to have their vaccination registered at the same time, you will need to make an appointment for each individual.
Bring the following documents to your appointment:
- your identity document: the details on your identity document must match the ones on your proof of vaccination; and/or;
- a document bearing your citizen service number (BSN): only if your BSN is not on your identity document. If you do not have a BSN, you must show proof that you are a Dutch national or that you live in the Netherlands. For instance, an employer’s declaration or a declaration of enrolment from your educational institution; and;
- proof of vaccination issued in the country where you were vaccinated that meets the requirements for proof of vaccination.
