Horn of Africa - Climate Change Program (HoA-CCP) - Mid Term Review

The Horn of Africa – Climate Change Programme (HoA-CCP) promoted climate smart and inclusive development at local level in 6 countries in the Horn of Africa. The MTR was positive about the network, the learning and the local activities. The MTR saw scope for improvements in management, administration and long term planning and design. Improvements to tackle these shortcomings were recommended.

Recommendations made by the MTR were implemented at the level of the HoA-REC centre as well as the projects in the 6 countries. A 6 month support and training the financial staff using an SAP system resulted in substantial improvement of the financial administration.
