Organisation
The Netherlands Ministry of Defence comprises the Central Staff, 4 armed forces services, Defence Materiel Organisation and the Joint Support Command. The Minister of Defence is at the head of the Defence Organisation. The Minister for Arms Procurement and Personnel is responsible for civil leadership duties. The Chief of Defence is responsible for preparing and executing operations carried out by the armed forces services.
