Policy Framework Fund Combatting Sexual Exploitation of Children
On 15 July 2022, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a call for grant proposals for the Fund Combating Sexual Exploitation of Children. This grant policy framework has the following policy objective: contributing to the combating and prevention of sexual exploitation of children and young people up to the age of 18 years.
Grant request
A grant request should be submitted on the basis of the application form (Annex 10). This can be done in both Dutch or English. See the Dutch version of the grant policy framework. The annexes are only available in English.
Deadline for applications
The minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation has decided to postpone the deadline for submission of applications under the Policy Framework Fund Combatting Sexual Exploitation of Children.
- The new deadline for submitting applications is 2 December 2022.
- The starting date for the activities under this policy framework will be the 1 of March 2023, instead of the 1 of January 2023.

Countries for which additional points may be obtained
The minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation has amended the subsidy framework Fund Combatting Sexual Exploitation of Children. This concerns the countries for which additional points can be obtained.
This is the case for all 22 focus countries for development cooperation listed in the BHOS policy note, and not only the in the BHOS policy note listed countries in the focus regions for development cooperation (West-Africa/Sahel, Horn of Africa, Middle East and North Africa (MENA)); so also for Mozambique, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. The formal amendment of the policy framework will be published as soon as possible in the Dutch Government Gazette.
