Eligibility for the Wajong benefit
To be eligible for the Wajong benefit, certain conditions apply. For example, you must not be currently in education. Please consult the Uitvoeringsinstituut Werknemersverzekeringen – UWV (Employee Insurance Agency) website to find out about eligibility for the Wajong benefit (in Dutch).
Applying for the Wajong benefit
Please contact the UWV to apply for a work capacity evaluation. The UWV will then investigate whether there are opportunities for you to work. This is called arbeidsvermogen. Does the UWV find that you have no capacity for work? You are then eligible for the Wajong benefit.
